11.3. Dock: Adding a program for convenience

"The Dock is a convenient place to keep items you use frequently. You can add or remove items from the Dock, make it larger or smaller, or even hide it altogether." --Mac Help

Keep in Dock

Start the program. If the program icon icon is not in your Dock already, it will appear near the right side of the Dock.

1. Right-click the icon.
2. Click Options
3. Click Keep in Dock

Note: You may slide the program icon around on the Dock to put it in a different position after it is kept in the Dock.
